Autostop is certified for the ISO 50001:2018 standard but is also conducting a Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) of its products, and measuring the carbon footprint of the company as a whole.
By following the requirements of the ISO 50001, the company is becoming more energy efficient, managing successfully its energy sources, and reducing CO2 emissions by applying contemporary procedures. Solar panels already installed is one of the methods that has reduced the factory’s emissions.
LCA activities and carbon footprint calculations are an ongoing process, which allows the company to work with its suppliers in order to have “cradle to gate” measurement of certain products and continues to find ways to protect the environment by reducing harmful emissions in the air.
